Does it need assembly, and how quickly can I set it up?

No assembly is required. It unfolds in three folds and is ready to use in seconds, and it folds back into a chair just as quickly.

How big is it when folded and unfolded?

Folded it is 70 W × 90 D × 75 H cm with a 35 cm seat height. Unfolded it is 70 W × 210 L cm, with an 11.6 cm mattress.

Is it easy to look after?

Yes. The fabric may arrive with creases from the compressed packaging — steam it with a garment steamer before use, and it will look as smooth and neat as it does in the photos.

Is it comfortable to sit on?

Yes — it is made for everyday sitting. In chair mode it has a back and arms with a 35 cm seat height, and the foam seat gives you support when you get up.

Will the foam go flat over time?

The seat and back use compressed foam rather than springs or loose fibre, which is what helps them keep their shape with normal use. Keep it clean and fluff the surface occasionally; if you plan to sleep on it every night, add a mattress topper.

How do I clean the corduroy cover?

The cover is not designed to be removed for machine washing. Spot clean marks with a damp cloth and use a soft brush for dust.

Is it wide enough for an adult?

It is 70 cm wide, which suits one adult or a child comfortably. If you need a wider sleeping surface, the Tofu Block Sofa Bed is 86 cm wide.
