Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to the use of rorenliving.com.au and purchases from ROREN. ROREN is operated by AURA SOFA PTY LTD (ABN 13 695 489 886), Suite 26, 89 Jones Street, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia. Contact: info.rorenliving@gmail.com.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Consumer Guarantees & Warranty Support page.

1. Using the website

You may use this website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You must not interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, misuse customer accounts or use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for providing accurate, complete and current contact, billing and delivery information.

2. Product information

We take reasonable care to present product descriptions, colours, materials, dimensions, images and availability accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens and production batches. Measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances where stated or ordinarily expected.

Product information and prices may be updated before an order is accepted. Changes will not alter a confirmed order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

3. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when ROREN issues an order confirmation after successful payment processing. We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailable stock, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud or an address we cannot service.

If we cannot accept an order, we will notify the customer and refund amounts paid for the affected order. We will not charge a different product price or additional freight after confirmation without the customer's express agreement.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Australian dollars. GST is included unless stated otherwise. Product price, applicable discounts and the shipping charge are shown at checkout before payment.

If an obvious pricing or system error is identified before dispatch, we will contact the customer and offer the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling for a refund. Nothing in this section limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Shipping charges displayed at checkout are final for the standard delivery service selected for the order. Optional services requested after checkout may be quoted separately and are provided only with the customer's agreement.

Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. We will take reasonable steps to deliver within the agreed or a reasonable time. Where ROREN arranges delivery, responsibility for loss or damage in transit remains subject to the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable laws; risk does not automatically transfer to the customer merely because an item has been handed to a carrier.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and disclose relevant access restrictions such as stairs, lifts, narrow doors and limited vehicle access.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellation requests, change of mind returns and return procedures are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Change of mind conditions do not restrict remedies available for faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise non-compliant goods.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation depending on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.

Any additional product warranty is provided in addition to consumer guarantee rights and does not replace or limit those rights.

8. Website availability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, technical issues or events outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. This does not affect obligations relating to accepted orders or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Third-party services

The store is powered by Shopify and may use third-party payment, delivery and technology providers. A third party's separate terms may apply when the customer chooses to use that service. ROREN remains responsible for its own obligations as the seller and does not direct customers to a third party in place of a remedy ROREN must provide under law.

10. Intellectual property

Website text, branding, graphics and other content owned or licensed by ROREN may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except as permitted by law. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Reviews and customer content

If you submit a review, photo or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is lawful and accurate. You grant ROREN a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and adapt that content for operating and promoting the store. You may ask us to stop using customer content where reasonably practicable, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

To the extent permitted by law, ROREN is not liable for loss caused by the customer's misuse of a product, inaccurate information supplied by the customer or events wholly outside ROREN's reasonable control. This limitation does not exclude liability for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage arising from a failure to meet a consumer guarantee.

13. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment information is processed by Shopify and payment providers used for the transaction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version. Changes apply to future website use and future orders from the effective date. They do not retrospectively alter a confirmed order unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in this section limits any right a consumer may have to bring a claim in another court or tribunal under applicable consumer law.
